Master

Master courses (M1 et M2) cover a large spectrum of flavours, targeting many specialties of Physics, as well as preparation for the CAPES (=teaching diploma) for teaching Physics/Chemistry.

  • see the Master Physique Fondamentale et Applications for the options (and the information on how to apply). It is accessible, depending on the options which are requestd, to those holding a Licence (=bachelor degree) in Physics, Physics-Chemistry, EEA (=Electrical Engineering), Materials Sciences or similar, awarded by a University in France or abroad.
  • the Master PhyMed aims to train biophysicists for a biomedical context. A common course is offered for students coming from Physics, but also from Biology, Medical Sciences of related domains.
  • the course MoBiEN (Modeling biological and environmental systems), proposed within the framework of the Master IDIL, aims to provide a hands-on training for students wishing to work in research. It intends to be interdisciplinary, and calls upon expert teaching staff in Mathematics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science.

After obtaining a Licence (=Bachelor degree), it is also possible to enrol in

  • the Master MEEF, Parcours Physique Chimie, dedcated to future school teachers in Physics/Chemistry : this is offered in collaboration with the Faculté d’Education and the ESPE (Ecole supérieure du Professorat et de l’Education).

On another level, the Physics Department is also involved in offering the preparation fot the
